Is everything really free?

Yes, all the programs are made by groups of people who don't believe that you should have to pay for computer programs. You can use the disk as many times as you want.

My school doesn't have software as good as this, what can I do?

Start by making a copy of this CD and handing it to your teacher, you could even do some really good homework and explain how you made it. 

I've installed the software but it doesn't work, what should I do?

First, check that you have got the required software that is says on the install page of this CD. If you have done that and it still doesn't work, check the website of the program to see if other people are having the same problem.

What are the requirements to run XYZ?

You need to check the website of the program where it will give you exact specifications. Most of the programs on this disk need Windows XP or above and a computer bought within the last few years.

If I have a problem can I get in touch with you?

We're afraid that we don't have the resources to help you out with problems in individual programs, we may be able to help you out with any problems with the CD though.

XYZ program has broken my machine! Help!

We're afraid that all the software offered on this CD is offered in accordance with the individual licenses of each product. I'm afraid we can't help you out with any problems the software may give you. You should seek help on the websites of the problem program.

I can't find a program that does the same as commercial program XYZ, can you help?

Take a look into Open Source alternatives to common commercial software at: www.osalt.com. If the program you find really helps you, it may help other people as well so please send us an email so we can add it to the CD.
