FreeCol is an open source version of the very popular Colonisation game. Take control of a nation trying to carve up America in the years after Columbus. FreeCol offers multiplayer modes or competition against computers. Use a combination of diplomacy, trade and even war to stay alive.

This install requires GTK+ to be installed, but don't worry if you don't already have it, it is included in the FreeCol installation file.
